Paris, Tenn.—Two Paris men are being held in the Henry County Jail after their arrests on charges of aggravated rape: one is being held on $300,000 bond and the other on $25,000 bond.

Shontel Thompson, age 21, of 1106 Travis St., is being held on $300,000 bond and Deundre Webb, age 20, of 703 McCampbell St., is being held in the Henry County Jail on $25,000, following their arrests Tuesday. Thompson also lists an address in Jackson.

Paris Police Captain Ricky Watson told WENK/WTPR the charges involve an incident of unlawful sexual contact with an 18-year-old female last month. He said the victim was treated at the hospital following the incident.

Watson also said additional charges may be pending against Thompson and Webb. As the investigation progresses, he said, other suspects may also be charged in the incident.

Thompson is also being held on a probation violation charge. Webb is also being held on an unrelated charge of simple possession.
