Police Seek Shooting Suspect

Hickman, Ky.—The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating and apprehending a man who was shooting at people in Hickman Saturday afternoon.
Police are seeking Jeremy Kelvonne Kinney, age 30, whose last known address is Paducah. He is described as a black male, black hair, brown eyes, 5’ 11”, 175 pounbs and has a long scare on the left side of his face that runs to his lip.
He is wanted for terroristic threatening, third degree; fleeing and evading police, first degree; wanton endangerment, first degree, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He is the brother of Jerrelle Kinney who escaped custody after senetencing last week at the Fulton County Courthouse. Jerrelle was later apprehended by Union City Police and is in the Obion County Jail.
The incident with Jeremy Kinney began when Fulton County Dispatch received a call that he had shot at two people on Sixth Street in the city limits of Hickman.
One of the victims said he and Jeremy were arguing and about to fight when Jeremy said he wasn’t going to fight, he was going to kill him. The two victims jumped into a vehicle and while backing out, Jeremy Kinney fired three shots, missing them.
 
Officers from the Hickman Police Department and Fulton County Deputies located the subject on Ivey Street in the back of a vehicle. When the officers approached the vehicle Jeremy exited and fled on foot. Officers gave pursuit on foot but lost the subject once he ran into a wooded thicket. The firearm was observed in his hand while running by officers. Additional units were brought in but the subject was never located.
 
Jeremy Kinney should be considered armed and dangers. If you know the location of the subject please contact your local law enforcement agency.
