Union City, Tenn.—The inmate who escaped from Fulton County sheriff’s deputies Thursday was captured Friday night in Union City.
Jerrell D. Kinney, age 29, of Hickman, escaped from custody outside the Fulton County Courthouse.
The Kentucky State Police received information on the possible whereabouts of Kinney around 9 p.m. Friday night. KSP then asked for assistance from the Union City Police to check a residence in their city.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., officers with the Union City Police Department located and arrested Kinney. He is being held in Tennessee, awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
