Livingston County, Ky.—A Big Sandy man is under arrest and awaiting extradition to Kentucky for his involvement in a Livington County teen’s disappearance two weeks ago.
Alexander Wood, age 23, of Big Sandy, is facing charges of custodial interference and first degree sexual abuse charges. Livingston County Sheriff Bobby Davidson said he will be extradited to Kentucky shortly.
Ruth Wailgum, age 16, of Livingston Co. was reported missing two weeks ago. She was found Wednesday in Mobile, Alabama, and is being held with Alabama Child Advocate Care.
Wailgum was found following an investigation by the U.S. Marshal’s Service and numerous police agencies in Tennessee and Alabama.
