Bethel Renaissance, Old Spirits Win Tennessee Music Awards
Jackson, Tenn.—The Tennessee Music Awards were handed out Thursday night in Jackson and the Renaissance Choir at Bethel University won Choir of the Year and our sister station, Froggy 104.1 in Jackson won Radio Station of the Year.
The Old Spirits, a band from Paris, won Americana Band of the Year.
A couple of local entities were nominated: Paris! Magazine was nominated for Magazine of the Year and Henry County High School’s Marching Patriots were nominated for Marching Band of the Year.
In those categories, however, VIP Jackson won Magazine of the Year and the Lexington High School Band won Marching Band of the Year.
