UC To Receive $300,000 Grant For Industrial Improvements

 
Union City, Tenn.—Union City City Council learned Tuesday night that the city will be receiving a $300,000 grant from the Delta Regional Commission to be used for infrastructure improvements at the Northwest Regional Industrial Park where Williams Sausage is building a new facility.
Specifically, the money will be used for a water line extension. Williams Sausage is building a new 200,000 square foot production facility, distribution center, maintenance shop and corporate offices.
It will create 200 new jobs.
