Murray, Ky.—A Murray man was killed after a trail riding accident around midnight Saturday night.
Stephen G. Bogard, age 49, of Murray, was pronounced dead at the scene after he was freed from his Jeep by first responders.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 2600 block of Crossland Road and found the overturned Jeep Wrangler, with Bogard trapped.
According to information from the sheriff’s office, Bogard and four others went for a ride on some trails behind Bogard’s home. The vehicle lost traction and overturned at least twice. The four passengers were reportedly not injured. No one was wearing seatbelts.
