Union City, Tenn.–A Memphis man was jumped by several other men and later in the evening shot at by the same men on Monday evening in Union City. Union City Police do have a suspect in the ongoing investigation.
Police were called to the 500 block of Nash St. in the Eastgate housing complex around 6:15 a.m. on a report of several people attacking someone. When they arrived, the crowd dispersed and several people were screaming. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police were then called to the 1300 block of Nailing Dr. around 8:45 p.m. and found the same victim had been shot at. He told police he was shot at three times by the same men who jumped him earlier.
