McKenzie,Tenn.—A 17-year-old from McKenzie has been arrested in connection with the shooting in July of a 31-year-old as he sat in his car in McKenzie.
The McKenzie Police Department has charged the juvenile with Attempted First Degree Murder. The local juvenile court ordered that the juvenile be kept in custody until a hearing on the charges.
The victim was shot July 30 as he sat in his vehicle on Walnut Circle in McKenzie. He was shot multiple times in the face and upper body and was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition for several days.
