Two UC Clerks Cited For Unlawful Liquor Sales

Union City, Tenn.—Two convenience store clerks in Union City were cited for unlawful sale of alcohol during compliance checks performed by the Union City Police on Saturday.
Cited were: Connie Johnson of Hickman, Ky., working at Pocket’s convenience store at 1605 W. Reelfoot Ave., and Yolanda Dowell of Union City, working at Uptown North convenience store at 1315 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Dr.
Both Johnson and Dowell were cited for selling alcohol to a person under 21 who was working with the Union City Police for the compliance checks.
