Paris, Tenn.—Andrew Thompson was busy Wednesday, getting his hog ready for Thursday’s Market Hog Shows at the Henry County Fair. In the background is Deputy Bryan Hall who always works the hog show along with numerous other volunteers.
Meanwhile, inside the Enoch Building, volunteers were busy arranging flower entries for display.
Thursday will be an extremely busy day at the Henry County Fair, with the Market Hog, Goat, Lamb and Steer shows ongoing all day and the Junior Livestock Sale at night. Other events include the Woolies Revue, a performance by the Chill Tonics, a craft demonstration, Henry County High School Pep Rally. A second annual Moon Pie Eating Contest also will be held.
Big Ed’s also will be serving meals.
In addition, the Old Country Store will again be open, as well as the Commercial Exhibits.
