Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County Fair has announced that the Carnival will be opening early—today in fact, at 5 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
Other events on the schedule for today include the Horse Show at 6 p.m., which will be held at the Henry County Saddle Club, and the Miss Teen and Fairest of the Fair pageants, which start at 6:30 p.m. in the Commercial Building.
Anyone interested in being in the pageants can still do so; late entries are accepted at the door with a $5 late fee.
So far, thirteen young ladies have signed up for the Fairest of the Fair and eight for the Miss Teen contest.
