Tennessee Ridge, Tenn.—The 84-year-old man who had been missing from his Tennessee Ridge home since Wednesday noon has returned home.
James Downey left his residence around noon Wednesday and was apparently on his way to Arkansas. He is insulin-dependent and has dementia and left without his medications with him. The Houston Co. Sheriff’s Office issued a silver alert to locate him.
His family informed dispatchers that Downey returned home Thursday night and is fine.
