Quota Hears About HCMC Imaging

Paris, Tenn.–Billie McKee, Director  of Imaging and Customer Relations at Henry County Medical Center presented a program about the hospital’s testing equipment at Quota’s meeting this week.

Her guest was Troy Berman, Director of Imaging at a hospital in New Mexico, who is working with her this week, as a guest.  McKee showed pictures and shared the features of the CT Calcium Scoring and Ultrasound Vascular Screenings.  These tests or results are not submitted to insurance; but medicare will pay for a one-time vascular screening.  Your family physician must recommend the test for medicare to pay.  The self paying tests are:

To make an appointment for any of these screenings, all 731-644-8486.

President Donna Winders reminded members that August 27th is Quota Club of Paris’ 57th birthday and she gave a brief history of the Paris club.  The club was organized in 1960 and hosted its first district conference in 1963.  Quota currently has 55 members.

The Fellowship Committee will begin sending sympathy cards to Quota members who have lost a member of their immediate family (spouse, parent, child, brother/sister) and will email information about visitation times to members who may wish to attend visitation.  The committee asked for members to email information to Judy Sloan, Susan Pemberton and Jane Sinnema.

Quota will be responsible for the food at the Noon on the Square event coming up on September 8th and September 22nd.  Papers were available to sign up to work and also to make brownies.
