Union City, Tenn.—A masked man grabbed a purse from a woman seated in a vehicle at a Union City address on Friday evening. Union City Police are still seeking the suspect.
According to the police report, the victim picked up medications with four other friends from Wal-Mart around 9 p.m. and then drove to 4545 Knox Daniel Rd. As they pulled into the driveway, a white Dodge Dakota pulled in behind them.
Two black males jumped out of the Dodge and one of them, wearing a mask and with dreadlocks, asked them what they had. He was carrying a hammer and reached in the car and took the purse off of her lap and then fled the scene in the Dodge.
The police report inventory of items in her purse included several medications, including Oxycodone, cash, credit cards, cell phone and Social Security card.
