Hickman Police Officer Arrested

 
 
 
Mayfield, Ky. – Troopers with the Kentucky State Police Post arrested a Hickman police officer on a warrant today.  The warrant was issued for Officer James Blakeney in McCracken County and involve original charges of third degree forgery and impersonating a police officer. At the time of the original offense, he was not a police officer. The original charges were filed by the Paducah Police in February of 2017.
At the time of his arrest by KSP Post 1 on August 17, 2017, Blakeney was employed as a Police Officer for the City of Hickman, Kentucky.  Blakeney was taken into custody in Mayfield at approximately 1:00 p.m.  He was lodged in McCracken County Jail.
