Paris, Tenn.—Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Officer Greg Barker has announced two upcoming TWRA Hunter Education Opportunities:
TWRA Hunter Education Field Day
Saturday, August 26 at 9 am at Holly Fork Shooting Complex
Students 9 years of age and older can attend after successfully completing an online course.
Bring printed voucher showing completion of online course.
The Field Day consists of a review, 2 videos, written test and a live firing exercise.
Students MUST register online at www.tn.gov/twra. Click on “For Hunters” and follow the links to “Find a Class Near You” and sign up.
TWRA Hunter Education Classroom Course
Begins Monday night, October 16 at 6 pm at Hulmes Sporting Goods
Class will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-9 pm each night.
Students must attend all 3 nights, Oct. 16, 17 and 19.
The written test and live firing exercise will be held Saturday, October 21 at 9 am at Holly Fork.
