Union City, Tenn.—Among the pre-fair activities for the upcoming Obion County Fair is the Tyson Foods Community Feed, which will be held at noon Saturday, August 19 at the Obion County Fairgrounds.
Other activities that will be held this Saturday include the first Obion County Fair 5K and Fun Run at 8 a.m., the Car, Truck, Bike and Tractor Show at 9 a.m., and the Mule Show at 11 a.m.
In addition, the Carnival opens at 5 p.m. (Pay One Price $10) on the midway, and an Enduro Cross Race will be held at the Outdoor arena.
Fair officials also will be accepting the adult and junior entries beginning at 9 a.m.
The fair itself runs from August 21-August 26 with this year’s theme of “Country Pride, County Wide”.
