Search Of Car Brings Drug Charges To Paris Man

Dresden, Tenn.—A Paris man was arrested on drug charges in Dresden Monday afternoon when Weakley County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant on his car that was parked outside his employer.
Akito Marquies Hutcherson, age 33, of 303 Jenkins St., Paris, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and marijuana with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His vehicle also was seized.
According to Captain Randall McGowan, deputies executed the search warrant shortly before noon as the car was in the parking lot of Champion Homes in Dresden. According to McGowan, “Hutcherson was employed there at the time”.
Inside the car, deputies found 1.5 grams of crack cocaine, an ounce of marijuana, a set of digital scales with marijuana on it, plastic baggies, $543 cash and a paper containing peoples’ names with dollar figures beside them.
