Plus Endowment Event Nets $2,547

Paris, Tenn.—Paris Elementary Principal Chip Gray and Patsy Thompson talk things over this morning as he waited on her table at the Plus Endowment Bake Sale at Ann and Dave’s Restaurant in Paris. The bake sale was a huge success, thanks to the number of delicious baked goods donated for the sale, including several key lime pies made by Paris Mayor Carlton Gerrell. In addition, a portion of all sales at the restaurant were donated to Plus Endowment.
Board President Steve Blount said, “The numbers tell us we had an awesome 2nd Annual PLUS Endowment Benefit Breakfast and Bake Sale at Ann & Dave’s this morning. More than 250 people showed up for breakfast, bought bake sale items and left very generous tips. After the final tally, we netted $2,547.22, which is almost $900.00 above last year’s total.”
Blount thanked all Paris and Henry County Schools folks, as well as the PLUS board members, for being there to serve and keep things running smoothly.”
