Paris, Tenn.—Are you ready for some taters? The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will be giving away approximately 39,000 pounds of Russet potatoes starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 26. The giveaway will take place in the rear parking lot at the sheriff’s office on Forrest Heights in Paris.
Alexander Farms of Henry County received a shipment overage through their trucking company and donated the potatoes.
Some of the potatoes will be used at the county correctional facility. However, the large majority will be given away to the community.
