Paris, Tenn.—Despite today’s heat, a good-sized crowd of ‘hot dogs’ and equally hot humans turned out for the puppy party and benefit for the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter. Organized by Ryan Cross, the party was for her dog Atlas’ first birthday and she asked everyone to bring bags of dog food and treats for the dogs at the animal shelter. In attendance at today’s party was Big Red from The Animal Doctor in Paris, as well as Sheriff Monte Belew and Si. Cupcakes for humans and ‘pupcakes’ were the dogs were served.
