Updated: Missing Murray Man Found

UPDATE: Murray Police have reported that Eugene Chavis has contacted his sister and is safe.
 
Murray, Ky.–The Murray Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a man who was last seen on Tuesday.
 
Sgt. Brant Shutt said Eugene Chavis was reported missing by his sister, Virginia Adams.
 
According to his sister, Chavis was last seen at the Calloway County Judicial Building on July 18. He works at PTL and is described as approximately 6’01” in height, medium build, brown eyes and brown hair, and weighs about 230lbs.
 
Chavis drives a silver 2016 Ford Escape, with a South Carolina license plate NKN-171. On
the last date he was seen he was wearing a dark blue shirt and black basketball shorts. The
location where he might be heading is unknown.
