James Elkins’ Memorial Services To Be Held Sunday

 
 
Paris, Tenn.-A Memorial Service will be held Sunday for James Elkins, age 49, of Paris. Elkins was found dead at his Union City home July 14 and his death is under investigation by Union City Police.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church, with calling after 1 p.m. Sunday. Elkins will be buried at Memorial Cemetery in Paris. Funeral arrangements are being handled by McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris.
Born in Paris to Bobby Ray and Dorthey Raymer Elkins, he is surved by a son, Charles Thompson, Spokane, Wash., and three brothers, Earl, Paris; and Terry and Allen, both of Union City.
He was a graduate of Henry County High School and worked as a welder and in construction. When he lived in Paris, he was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
