Troy, Tenn.—The annual Troy Community Involvement Days gets underway Friday and Saturday this weekend. The opening ceremonies will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at city park.
Activities include cake walks and bands each day, with games, inflatables and vendors set up all weekend. A 5K run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Other activities include pageants that begin at 2 p.m., a dog and cat show at 5 p.m., train rides and a basketball shoot.
The popular band Avonlea will perform Saturday evening.
