Paris, Tenn.—The autopsy on the young woman found dead in her car last evening on Blood River Rd. near Buchanan has been completed and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon released an update on the investigation into her death.
Emily Webb, age 20, of Paris, was found deceased and her body was sent to the TBI Crime Lab in Nashville late Tuesday afternoon.
“At this time, it has been determined that there is no obvious or visual cause for the death of Ms. Webb. Further results are expected once the toxicology samples are returned, however those results will not be known for approximately six to eight weeks,” according to the press release.
This case is still open and is pending the results of her blood work and further investigation by the sheriff’s office Criminal Investigation Division.
