Paris, Tenn.—Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew and his K9 Si, at left, along with Deputy Ricky Wade and Nitro and Deputy Jamie Myrick are pictured with coffee cans containing large amounts of marijuana, a felony amount of “Ice”, a pistol and drug paraphernalia that was confiscated today after a tip from the Paris Police Office. The post office received a suspicious package and notified law enforcement. A search warrant was drafted and officers, in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Service, were on the scene as the package was delivered. Both Nitro and Si alerted to the package. The package was delivered to 3703 Highway 79N, No. 4. Found during the search were nine Folger coffee cans containing marijuana packaged inside the coffee grounds, along with the “Ice” and the other items. Arrested was Alvin D.
