Union City woman charged with hitting vehicle intentionally

A Union City woman is facing charges after following and intentionally hitting another vehicle and leaving the scene.
According to the Union City Police report, Tuesday night around 9:30, 23-year-old Mykeya Brown, of Lynn Street, followed another vehicle from Nash Street to East Vine Street, where she hit the vehicle’s bumper three times.
The driver of the damaged vehicle pulled over at the intersection of East Vine and North Clover Streets where Brown reportedly pulled up beside the car and yelled at the driver and passengers before leaving the scene. The victims told police Brown didn’t like them in the area of Nash Street.
Later, Brown was sighted driving north bound on South Miles Avenue where she was stopped and questioned about the incident. Brown told police one of the passengers in the other vehicle was texting her boyfriend. Police also noticed damage to Brown’s vehicle consistent with the damage to the other vehicle.
Brown was arrested and booked into the Obion County Jail on three counts of aggravated assault and vandalism over $1,000.
