Fulton, Ky.—Three men from Obion County and two from Fulton County pleaded guilty to illegal waterfowl guiding in Fulton County, according to a press release from the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.
Following an investigation and hearings, all of the men have been sentenced and fined in Kentucky.
According to the press release, Rodney Speed, age 44, of Union City, was found guilty of facilitation of a non-resident commercial guide license. He was sentenced to the forfeiture of a 2011 Polaris Ranger crew and the loss of hunting privileges for one year. He paid a fine of $1,153.
Jeff Boyd, age 49, of Union City, was found guilty of non-resident commercial guide license violations and illegal taking of migratory birds. He forfeited two shotguns, lost his hunting privileges for five years and paid restitution to Kentucky Fish and Wildlife of $2,500.
Bill Jackson, age 61, of Woodland Mills, was found guilty of guide license violation and hunting without a non-resident Kentucky license and waterfowl permit. He lost his hunting privileges for three years and paid a fine of $1,000.
Jimmy Rowland, age 42, of Hickman, was found guilty of commercial guide license violations and one count of illegally taking migratory birds. He lost his hunting privileges for four years and paid $5,000 in fines.
Rob Hitesman, age 46, of Hickman, was found guilty to three counts of entry to land without permission and paid a $453 fine.
