Paris, Tenn.–The annual Henry County Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at 8 a.m. Monday, May 30 at the courthouse. The ceremony will be held outside on the courthouse lawn unless there is rain and it will be moved indoors.
Coordinator Ann Smith said this year’s program will be a little different this year. Emcee will be Kathi Duncan of AmVets Post 45 in Buchanan. The Tennessee State Guard will be present the colors, Pastor Mike Robertson will lead the prayers and the commanders of all the local service organizations will be on hand.
The program will include the Laying of the Wreath at the veterans’ memorial on the court square.
