Section Of Hwy. 79 Closed Following Wreck

Dover, Tenn.—A section of Hwy. 79 in Dover is closed following a serious two-car accident this morning in which both vehicles were in flames.
The dispatcher at the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office told WENK/WTPR shortly before 8 a.m. that the roadway should be back open in 30 minutes and that first responders are in the process of moving both vehicles off of the roadway.
The accident occurred in front of the McDonald’s on Hwy. 79 (Donelson Parkway).
The condition of the people in the vehicles is unknown at this time. The dispatcher said that information was not yet available.
