Paris, Tenn.–Deadline to register to for the Paris-Henry County Chamber’s Farm Tour is September 28th at noon. To make your reservation, please call Tara Wilson at the Chamber at 642-3431.
This is a venture of the Chamber’s Agriculture Committee, whose major goal is to showcase agriculture in Henry County. The date of the tour is set for Thursday, Oct. 5th and is free to the public.
Tours of several of our area farms will take place, with lunch and transportation provided. Sulphur Wells Church of Christ and First Baptist Church will provide transportation for the tour.
The morning will begin at 7:30 at the Co-Op meeting room (former Holley Carburetor Plant on Highway 69) with coffee, sausage and biscuits provided by the Henry Farmers Co-op and a program provided by Jamey Tosh on Tosh Farms will kick off the Farm Tours. Attendees will be provided tours of Don Jones’ tobacco farm, Steer dairy farm and Heritage Farm.
