Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men for the murder of Angela Claxton last week. One of the men is her husband.
Sheriff Josh Frey said Kenneth Claxton, age 50, was arrested at 425 Cay Lawrence Rd., Buchanan, Tuesday, June 9, and charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Travis Ryan, age 21, was taken into custody at 1699 Jewel Store Rd., Dresden. Ryan is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and first-degree murder.
Both men are being held at the Henry County Jail without bond pending their first court date Thursday, June 11.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by during the investigation by Weakley County Sheriff’s Office, TBI, FBI, Murray State Police, Kentucky State Police, U.S. Attorney’s Office Western District, Puryear Police, 24 th District Attorney General Office and 27 th District Attorney General Office.
