Union Tenn.–Join them on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 9 a.m. as the Union City Fire Department and Discovery Park of America honor the 343 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. During the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, first responders in full gear will climb the Cooper Tower staircase 10 times, symbolizing the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. This event also supports the vital programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, benefiting families of fallen firefighters and the FDNY Counseling Services Unit.
