Union City, Tenn.–A select group of third and fourth graders from Union City Elementary was rewarded last week with a trip to Discovery Park of America as part of the school’s Discovery Kids program.
Faculty and staff nominated ten students from both the third and fourth grades to travel to DPA and enjoy a fun-filled day after their exemplary behavior over the final nine weeks of the 2022-23 school year.
The honorees – many of whom wore purple UCES shirts to show their Tornado Pride – had been lauded by school staff for displaying excellent behavior, character, and classroom work ethic.
The students explored the many exhibits at the park and were accompanied by school personnel, who chaperoned the day’s activities.
