Billie C. Williams

Billie C. Williams, 78, of Puryear, Tennessee, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

Billie was born Thursday, April 13, 1944, to the late Clyde Wilson and the late Maxine Garrett Wilson.

She retired from Emerson Electric in Paris where she worked until its closing.  Billie was the co-owner of Frame Makers in Paris.  She enjoyed playing Solitaire and Hayday on her tablet.  She loved her cats and her family very much, and all her furry grandbabies “The Muttley Crew.”

She was married Sunday, April 10, 1966, to Marvin Lee Williams, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son: Michael Sweeney, Jr., and special friend Racheal Martin. of Puryear, Tennessee; one sister: Vicki King, of Paris; two grandchildren: Tyler Sweeney and Grace Sweeney; one great-grandchild: Axel Cohen Sweeney; one niece: Kimberly Rowland; one nephew: Rusty (Darrah) Crawford; several great nieces and great nephews; and a cousin: Michael Garrett, of Gary, Indiana.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the visitation.
