Cleta “Jean” Wells

Cleta “Jean” Wells, 83, of Mansfield, Texas, went to rest in the arms of Jesus Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

She was born Wednesday, March 8, 1939, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late William Lemuel Richardson and the late Jennie Mae Medlock Richardson.

Jean loved shopping for purses, shoes, and jewelry.  She enjoyed playing cards and shuffleboard with her friends at The Summit and spending time with her “Forever Friends.”  She enjoyed eating out and traveling.  She loved her friends and family fiercely and never hesitated to be there for them.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Howard; son: Kip; sister: Saline and twin sister: Jane; and four brothers: Kenneth, Harwell, VB and Basil.

She leaves behind her daughters: Kim Dennis and husband Tim, and Tabitha McKinsey and husband Chris; grandchildren: Caleb Dennis, Eliana and Isabella Schwark, Tanner and Jordan McKinsey, brother: Warren Richardson and wife Kay, and sister: Wilma Bomar and husband James.

The family will receive guests from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday July 22, 2022, at Jaynes Funeral Home in Duncanville, Texas.  Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, also at Jaynes Funeral Home.

A second visitation will be held locally at Ridgeway Funeral Home, Paris, Tennessee, Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., with a graveside service to begin at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee.
