Mosley Found Guilty Of 2nd Degree Murder

Union City, Tenn.–An Obion County Circuit Court jury found Tony Markee Mosley guilty of second degree murder in the stabbing death of Decora Alexander in 2019.

The two-day trial started Monday in the local courtroom. The jury found him not guilty of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.

Mosley, age 34, will be sentenced in June.

Ms. Alexander, of South Fulton, was a 20-year-old student at UT Martin. She was a member of the Skyhawks Dance Team.

Her body was discovered at Mosley’s home.

Mosley was represented in the trial by Public Defender Joe Atnip and District Attorney General Tommy Thomas appeared for the state.
