Paris, Tenn.–Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived at the Santa house in downtown Paris this morning, ready to listen to the Christmas wishes of children. The Santa house will be open from today through December 19 and is located on the northwest corner of the Henry County Courthouse lawn.
Karis Stutzman, daughter of Courtney and Justin Stutzman, was first in a line of 30 kids who were waiting patiently to see Santa at 10 a.m. today when the house opened.
“We anticipate over 200 kids will see Santa today between 10-2. This is a tradition that I remember doing as a kid. Although we made a few modifications to be mindful of social distancing, it was good to see so many kids smiling when they saw Santa!”, according to Paris-Henry County Chamber CEO Travis McLeese.
Santa’s elves are also on hand at the house and this year there are two large heaters set up. Santa’s hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and from 2-4 p.m. on Sundays.
The Festival of Trees also opened this morning.

Hours this year are: Thursdays: noon to 3 p.m. Fridays: noon to 2 .m. and 5-7 p.m. Saturdays: noon to 3 p.m.
Sundays: 2 to 4 p.m.
