Nashville, Tenn.–In a star-studded ceremony, Hank Williams Jr. of Paris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame Sunday night along with Marty Stuart and Dean Dillon.

Williams, Stuart and Dillon gathered in the Hall of Fame Rotunda at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville for photos right before being formally inducted.

Williams joined his late father, Hank Williams Sr. in being inducted into the Hall of Fame and was surrounded by family members at the ceremony.

Performing his songs before the crowd were Alan Jackson, Shooter Jennings and Eric Church. Brenda Lee had the honor of formally inducted Williams into the Hall. She said, “This is hard for me, because I only have a career because of the Williams name, because of Hank, Sr. My first record was ‘Jambalaya,’ and I was 10 years old and it gave me a life in an industry that I have loved and cherished with all my heart. I love to see entertainers that feel the same way. And Hank does, and he always has.”

This year’s ceremony included a star-studded lineup that included Kenny Chesney, George Strait and the evening started with the entrance of Country Music Hall of Fame members, including Bill Anderson, Emmylou Harris, Brooks & Dunn, Ray Stevens, Ricky Skaggs and more.

Marty Stuart last weekend performed to a sold-out audience at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center in Huntingdon. At the ceremony, Emmylou Harris and Charlie Worsham performed Stuart’s song ‘Tempted”.

Stuart’s wife, Hall of Famer Connie Smith, inducted her husband.

Dillon is a songwriter known for hits recorded by Pam Tillis, Kenny Chesney and more.
