HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary Collecting For Family Resource Center

hcmc-volunteer-auxiliary-school-supply-drive

Paris, Tenn.– The HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary is collecting sharp pointed scissors and smooth bound (not spiral) composition notebooks for the Henry County Family Resource Center.  The Auxiliary is asking for partners and the community to consider contributing to help students prepare for the school year.

“We are excited to collect for the Family Resource Center again this year,” said Tory Daughrity, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “The Volunteer Auxiliary not only strives to make a difference at HCMC but in our community as well. Last year limited the activities the Volunteer Auxiliary could participate in and they are ready to serve the community.”

All donations will be gladly accepted in the HCMC Pink Petal Gift Shop during regular hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The Volunteer Auxiliary will be collecting the supplies until July 19.  If you would like to donate money for the Volunteer Auxiliary to purchase supplies, please speak with a gift shop worker or call (731) 644-8531.

The Volunteer Auxiliary at Henry County Medical Center is comprised of nearly 40 volunteers that serve across the organization. Auxiliary volunteers offer their time, talent and dedication throughout the hospital in patient care and clerical settings. Our volunteers come from unique backgrounds and share the common interest in helping others.

To learn how you can become a part of the HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary, contact Daughrity at 731-644-8266 or go online at www.hcmc-tn.org to learn more.
