Residents Escape, Home Is Total Loss In Fire

Springville, Tenn.–A couple and their one-year-old baby escaped unharmed from an early morning fire in Springville, but their home is a total loss.

At approximately 3:15 am today, the Paris Landing Fire Department and Henry County Sheriff’s officers were dispatched to 126 Duncan Drive, in Springville for a report of a mobile home on fire.  Arriving units found a single wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames.

Fire Chief Reggie Coles said, “The occupants, Ty Crain, Sheri Lewis and their 1 year old baby were able to escape uninjured when the smoke alarm woke them up.”

The trailer was a total loss.  Damage is estimated at $35,000.  Four trucks and 10 firefighters were on the scene for five hours.
