Masquerade Theatre Needs Your Help

capitol-theatre

Union City, Tenn.–With community support over the past 21 years the Masquerade Theatre in Union City has been able to bring outstanding theatrical productions to West Tennessee. Shows such as Guys and Dolls, Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Shrek, Cats, and the Smoke on the Mountain series have been performed by local community members on the stage of the historic Capitol Theatre.
With the current pandemic situation they have had to postpone the remainder of the originally scheduled 2020 season. For the first time since 1999, the historic Capitol Theatre will be dark for the majority of the year. Even though they have not had any performances since March, they still have expenses such as rent, insurance, utilities, and more. The monetary costs to maintain the building and organization are approximately $2,500 each month, not including production expenses. Donations of $25-$2,500 or $50-$5,000 or even $100-$10,000 will help keep the lights on at the Capitol.
Please consider donating via one of the 3 options below to help them cover these costs until they can safely stage another theatrical performance for you!
