Paris Woman Indicted On Conspiracy Charge

brooke-myers

Paris, Tenn.–A Paris woman charged in a conspiracy was among the 31 persons indicted Monday by the Henry County Grand Jury.

Brooke Nichole Myers, age 29, of Red Oak Drive, was arrested in July of 2019 as part of an operation by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Paris Police. Officers said at the time that Myers was a ‘major distributor’ of drugs locally.

She was indicted on charges which include criminal conspiracy to deliver marijuana, two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Marijuana weighing some five to six pounds of what officers called ‘high grade marijuana’ was found in the car.

Meeting in all day session Monday, the grand jury issued the 31 indictments, which include two secret indictments, after presentations by the district attorney’s office. The secret indictments will be publicly announced later.

As usual, the bulk of the indictments involve drug and thefts.

Among the indictments are:

John Phillip Allen, 90 Laurel Lane, Paris, arson, setting fire to personal property.

Mark Thomas, Antioch Harbor Road, Springville, aggravated assault, harassment, aggravated stalking and failure to appear.

Justin Daniel Barker, Humboldt, two counts of rape and aggravated statutory rape.

Joshua Langford, 700 Mandalay Road, aggravated child endangerment.
