Report On Henry County Double-Fatality Released

Paris, Tenn.–The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the report on the double fatality which occurred in Henry County over the weekend. Two young people, Logan Way, age 25, of Paris; and Savanna Stallings, age 22, of Puryear, were killed in the accident which occurred Saturday on Hwy. 641S.

According to the report, Stallings was driving a Chevrolet SUV with Way as passenger when their vehicle crossed the center line and struck the front right of a Mack tractor-trailer driven by David Cummins, age 53, of Paducah. Cummins was not injured.

No alcohol or drugs were involved, according to the report.

Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Way, who is the son of Melvin Way of Paris; and Connie Rooks of Martin; and for Stallings, who is the daughter of James Stallings of Puryear and Tracie Stallings of Puryear.
