Two Authors To Speak At Black History Program At Paris Library

Paris, Tenn.–The W.G. Rhea Library in Paris will host a Black History program Saturday that will feature two African-American women authors. The program is from 1-4 p.m. at the library in downtown Paris.

Monica Sturdivant Ray and Dr. Cynthia Hopson will discuss their literature and the audience will not only have an opportunity to hear each of them speak, you can purchase their books, and get them signed.

Both have written books with motivational messages. Ray is from Paris and earned her bachelor of science from Murray State and her master’s in business administration from the University of Memphis. Hopson lives in Cordova and earned a bachelor’s from Clark College, a master’s from Murray State and her Ph.D in journalism from Southern Illnois University in Carbondale.

There will be light refreshments offered, and the program is absolutely free.
