Paris, Tenn.-Cub Scout Pack 226 of Puryear decided to cheer up the cancer patients of Paris and Murray by collecting items that will make treatment a bit more comfortable. They collected a total of 69 blanket throws, 31 toboggans, 5 scarves, 17 pairs of fuzzy socks, 8 pairs of gloves, and 25 tubes of lip balm. On Monday, February 10, they delivered 34 bags of donated items to the Cancer Care Center of Henry County in Paris. Today, they will deliver another 34 bags to the Regional Cancer Center in Murray.
