Retired Paris Firefighter, Out-Of-Town Visitor Save Man From Drowning On Kentucky Lake

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office presented life-saving awards to two men who jumped into action and saved a man from drowning earlier this week.
Awards were given to retired Paris Firefighter Lt. Fred Reed and Bobby Hilliard, who was visiting Kentucky Lake from out of town.
Sheriff Monte Belew said a man fell into the water off a dock at Kentucky Lake and was drowning when Reed and Hilliard stepped in and provided help to him until paramedics arrived.
