Martin, Tenn.—A Dresden man suffered minor injuries after crashing his car onto railroad tracks in Martin while swerving to avoid a semi around 11:40 a.m. Friday.
According to the accident report, James B. White, age 75, was westbound on Main St. and said he met a semi and thought the semi was coming into his lane. He swerved, lost control of his vehicle and struck a ditch. From the ditch, he struck the gravel embankment at the railroad tracks and his vehicle finally came to rest on the tracks.
White was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
