Winter Weather Advisory: Snow Possible This Afternoon, Overnight

You’ve probably noticed that the city and county street and highway departments have been busy spreading brine over the streets and roads in our area in anticipation of predicted winter weather.
A winter weather advisory has been in effect since 6 a.m. this morning and will continue through noon Thursday by the National Weather Service.
According to the latest advisory, snow and freezing drizzle is predicted, beginning this afternoon. The weather service is stating there is a 60 percent chance of snow beginning around 3 p.m. this afternoon and 100 percent chance predicted overnight.
Total snow accumulations could be from 2-3 inches.
